Glen Oaks

Professional Biography:

Glen Oaks began his career in the insurance and financial services field in 1981. From the beginning, he sought top quality training in all aspects of life and health insurance and related topics. He obtained his fellow designation from the Life Underwriters Training Counsel (LUTC). He is a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA).

Today, he continues to attend workshops and educational classes related to his field.

Glen founded Financial Security Management Agency Inc. in 1986 as an independent agency. The goal of the agency is to provide peace of mind through carefully chosen money options and financial security by using customized strategies and products based on your objectives and risk tolerance.

In 2013, Glen co-authored the book titled, The Secret to Lifetime Financial Security, which quickly became an Amazon Best Seller.

In 2015, Glen became certified as a National Social Security Advisor which denotes advanced education, knowledge, and training in the Social Security program. In 2019, he became a Certified Financial Fiduciary, the only designation that focuses solely on training financial professionals to be true fiduciaries.

Glen enjoys teaching people how money works in their lives. He aspires to be known as someone who can help people get from where they are to where they want to be financially.

Personal Biography:

Glen has been married for over 40 years to his wife, Marcia. They have two children and seven grandchildren. When Glen isn’t helping people become more financial secure, he enjoys playing golf, and ice hockey. He is a member of Fowler Community Church, and serves as an elder there.

Matthew Oaks

Professional Biography:

Matthew has been in the insurance and financial planning industry since 2011. Along with his insurance licenses, he has added a Series 65 license in 2017. Prior to 2011, Matt spent seven plus years working in Conneaut, Ohio and Hubbard, Ohio as a youth pastor. Before that he worked in various retail sales positions in the area. Matt has an associates degree from Moody Bible Institute in biblical studies.

Personal Biography:

Matt has been married since 2006 to his wife Liz. Since then his family has grown with the addition of 3 beautiful girls. When he’s not spending time with his family, he plays hockey, soccer, and golf, and spends time coaching his daugter’s soccer team. Matt has served as president of the Mathews Youth Soccer League for the past 2 years and volunteers in other local organizations.

Professional Biography:

Brian is a graduate of Howland High School in Warren, Ohio. He received his B.S. in Sport Management and Administration from Bowling Green State University and his M.S. In Exercise Physiology from Ohio University. Brian past experience includes Cardiac Rehabilitation, Durable Medical Equipment, and Orthopedic Bracing.

Brian’s career change followed in the footsteps of his Father Gene Cook, LUTCF, at the time a veteran agent with Bankers Life and Casualty Company. During his 4 year tenure with Bankers Life, Brian achieved recognition as the Regional Agent of the year as well as the NALU National Sales Achievement Award.

In order to better serve his clientele, Brian joined the Financial Security Management Agency in 1993 and focuses his efforts in the areas of Health, Life and Income Planning. He is actively involved in BNI (Business Network International) and many of his clients have benefited from his relationships with local business professionals.

Brian is honest, caring and dedicated to the needs of his clientele. He goes the extra mile and has helped many of his clients qualify for subsidies due to income challenges. His business motto is, “Healthy Solutions for Your Financial Future.”

Brian hales from the Warren area, but has lived in Lisbon since 1998 with his wife and three children. He enjoys sailing, mountain biking and music.

Cyndi Bianco

Professional Biography:

Cyndi Bianco began her career in the insurance industry administering the back office system for a financial wholesaler. She tracked agent’s contracts, licensing information, commissions, insurance carriers, products, seminar attendance, and client information for increased productivity. Within two years she advanced to vice president of client services where she gained valuable experience helping agents meet their client’s insurance and financial objectives.

She has been with Financial Security Management for several years as an assistant to Glen Oaks. As Glen’s assistant she continues to provide excellent client service to help Glen meet his client’s objectives and goals.

As a licensed independent agent she hopes to bring the same philosophies of helping clients in the tri-county area by providing the best products for their needs whether that is health insurance, Medicare, life insurance, or annuities.

Cyndi strongly believes that quality service is not only what you put into it, but what your client gets out of it.

Personal Biography:

Cyndi graduated from Kent State University in 2001 where he focus was business management and computer technology.

She has three children. She was the past president of the Heartline Group Incorporated, a nationwide not for profit organization providing support for parents of children with congenital heart anomalies. This experience led her to embark into what has become a career in the insurance industry.

Jill has lived in the Mahoning Valley for over 20 years.  She is married and has three children. Her hobbies include entertaining, and spending time with her friends and family. She has been in a bocce league since the early 1990’s at the MVR restaurant in Youngstown, Ohio.

Bob Jenskovic

Professional Biography:

Bob Jenskovic has been licensed to sell health and life insurance in Ohio since Dec 1992.  He started his insurance career with Bankers Life and Casualty Co. before becoming an independent agent in late 2001. Bob’s past work history includes assisting his father in his Commercial Art business, restaurant management with Friendly’s Restaurants, and working with the US Census Bureau in the 2010 Census. Being an independent insurance agent has enabled Bob to offer products from several companies, making the insurance shopping process more thorough for his clients.  He always puts his clients’ needs first and he feels that providing excellent customer service is just as important as finding the correct insurance product for his clients.

Bob is a graduate of Wickliffe High School in Wickliffe, Ohio.  He earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management from John Carroll University in 1981.  He currently lives in Mineral Ridge, Ohio. Bob has two daughters, Nicole and Jill.  Nicole is married and works as a baker.  She had her first child in August 2015, making Bob a grandfather for the first time.  Jill is working toward a career as an Audiologist and recently earned her Doctorate Degree in Audiology from Kent State University.

Steve Osterink, Jr.

Steve Jr. is the driving force behind the development and innovation of Advisory Alpha’s investment solutions and platform. He leads the investment team and brings more than a decade of experience to the firm as well as extensive knowledge of personal finance and asset management, as evidenced by his CFA®, CFP®, and AIF® designations.

With nearly 40 years of experience in the financial services industry and working with investors, Steve Sr. co-leads the investment team. He has an uncanny ability to focus in on practical solutions to complex problems, and his wisdom is a valuable resource for the firm.

Nick Heinrich

Holding the CFP® designation and as a CFA® Candidate, Nick leads a team of financial planning consultants that implement various portfolio analysis and planning resources with the goal of improving clients’ financial situations. Nick is a key member of the investment team and is positioned to craft comprehensive solutions to financial challenges that span all stages of the financial planning process.

Jon Lohr

Jon has a diverse background in corporate finance and investment management. He manages the daily investment research and portfolio management responsibilities for the investment team which involves asset allocation research, fund monitoring and due diligence, investment strategy evaluation and implementation, and performance monitoring.

Brian Kragt

Dedicated to detail, responsiveness and efficiency, Brian is responsible for the firm’s trade management and portfolio accounting systems. This includes everything from
implementing portfolio investment decisions, account rebalancing, cash management functions, trade execution, account billing, and performance reporting.

Janine Osterink

Janine manages our accounting and financial systems, human resources functions, and office operations. She is also a key member of our compliance team and supports various departments across our firm including trading, financial planning, performance reporting, and account billing.

Mike Baker

Mike has a strong background in computer science and statistics which aids in his role as a key member of our operations team. He leads our technology initiatives as well as
supports the trade management and portfolio accounting functions.

Jared Margolies

Mr. Margolies serves as Director of Compliance. Mr. Margolies is responsible for developing and enhancing the compliance protocol across the Group. Mr. Margolies has over 20 years of compliance and supervisory experience, including leading the compliance team at a global life and annuity wealth management insurance company. Mr. Margolies earned a B.A. in Business from Stockton University.
